Admission pricing and ride pricing for the State Fair of Virginia is generally separate. This way, you only have to purchase what you need! Admission pricing for the State Fair of Virginia is shown below. Admissions tickets, ride ticket vouchers, and tickets for our V.I.P. Gala Event, "Black Tie and Boots" will go on sale on July 15th through our website. If you select the E-ticket delivery option (for single day admission tickets only), you may print your tickets at any time prior to your arrival at the Fair. Otherwise, tickets will be mailed beginning August 15th.

Walk Around Ticket (1 Day Pass)
Single day admission tickets are available in advance or at the Fair Gate and include a $2 facility fee. Admission tickets do not include rides.

Don't want the hassle of will call? Don't want to chance receiving your tickets by mail? You can still get your tickets in advance by selecting the e-ticket delivery option when purchasing your one day ticket online. Use this option and print your own barcoded ticket from your own printer.

Walk Around Season Pass (11 Day Pass)
Season Passes are valid all 11 days of the Fair. These passes are available in advance or at the Fair Gate and include a $4 facility fee. Season passes do not include rides and are not eligible for the e-ticket option.

Keep-it-Simple Combo Option
By popular demand, for 2010 we are offering an advance combination package which includes a voucher for one gate admission ticket (including facility fee) plus 40 ride tickets. Redeem the voucher at the Fair Ticket Office prior to the Fair or at any ticket booth in the Ticket Plaza during the Fair.
Ages 2 and under admitted FREE.

Military Discount

SFVA would like to express its appreciation and gratitude to our nation’s military by offering a $3 discount on the standard gate Walk Around Ticket price.

Eligible customers include U.S. Military Active Duty, activated or drilling reservists, National Guard personnel and retired service members – including their spouses and their children. A valid Department of Defense Identification (ID) is required for all. For children age 10 and under, no ID is required, but they must be accompanied by a qualifying family member that has a valid Department of Defense ID (limit 3 children per family member). Also eligible are U.S. Military Veterans who can show a valid Department of Veteran Affairs ID (Spouses and children are not eligible, since ID’s are not available).

Please note that individuals with a Department of Defense Civilian or Contractor identification card do not qualify for this offer.
